Smthgood Launches Lifestyle Vertical and Eco-Fashion Showcase at Millenia Walk

Smthgood, a profit-for-purpose social commerce startup, is expanding its horizon by introducing a new Lifestyle vertical. The platform refresh aims to provide users with a more personalized and holistic shopping experience while promoting conscious living. This strategic move aligns with Smthgood’s motto: “Look Good, Do Good, and Feel Good.”

Standing out as a pioneer in Asia, Smthgood offers a unique Lookbook styling tool, allowing users to explore fashion choices aligned with their values. With the launch of an enhanced e-commerce web application and an updated mobile application, Smthgood now provides multiple touchpoints for users to engage with close to 80 small and medium-sized brands that prioritize social and environmental responsibility.

The new Lifestyle vertical emphasizes sustainability, featuring nine diverse subcategories that echo Smthgood’s core values. These subcategories, to be progressively rolled out in the coming months, include skincare, hair care, body care, makeup, and home and wellness essentials. Each category underscores Smthgood’s commitment to conscious and ethical consumption, focusing on factors such as material composition, manufacturing processes, and the overall impact of the product.

Recent consumer trends highlight a growing demand for socially and environmentally responsible brands. A survey by YouGov revealed that 33% of APAC consumers prefer purchasing from companies that align with their values, particularly post-pandemic. Similarly, 34% of Singaporean consumers are more inclined to buy sustainably-made fashion products. Smthgood’s expansion into lifestyle offerings resonates with these evolving consumer preferences.

In addition to the Lifestyle vertical launch, Smthgood has revamped its personal Style Quiz, Stella, introducing a new style personality: Sporty Chic. With 270 permutations of responses, the quiz now offers more tailored recommendations, including color palettes based on individual traits such as skin color and eye color. Coupled with improved search capabilities and dynamic product tagging using fashion AI technology, Smthgood ensures a highly personalized shopping journey for its users.

To celebrate its new launch and Earth Hour 2024, Smthgood is hosting a physical event, “A Conscious Fashion Journey,” at Millenia Walk’s Grand Hall from March 18 to March 24. This event brings Smthgood’s digital platform to life, offering attendees the opportunity to explore sustainable fashion products firsthand. From eco-friendly apparel to ethically-sourced accessories, the showcase exemplifies Smthgood’s dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
