Emirates to Launch Daily Direct Service Between Singapore and Phnom Penh

Emirates has announced the relaunch of its daily Phnom Penh service, commencing on May 1st, with a stopover in Singapore. This move is set to enhance the airline’s connectivity within Southeast Asia, facilitating travel to and from Dubai while bridging two significant trade and leisure hubs in the region. Notably, this marks the introduction of Emirates’ inaugural fifth freedom flight between Singapore and Phnom Penh.

Operated by a state-of-the-art three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, Emirates’ flight EK348 will take off from Dubai at 0230hrs, landing in Singapore at 1405hrs. From there, the flight will depart Singapore at 1535hrs and touch down in Phnom Penh at 1635hrs. On the return leg, flight EK349 will leave Phnom Penh at 2050hrs, arriving in Singapore at 2350hrs. The journey will then continue with a departure from Singapore at 0140hrs the following day, reaching Dubai at 0455hrs. All timings are local.

The schedule alignment between Phnom Penh and Singapore offers convenient connecting options for travelers from key European and American cities such as Paris, London Heathrow, Boston, and New York, enhancing accessibility and travel flexibility.

Moreover, Emirates SkyCargo will provide ample cargo bellyhold capacity on the Boeing 777-300ER, with a capacity of over 300 tonnes per week in and out of Phnom Penh. This presents opportunities for the transportation of various commodities, including textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other high-value goods.

Emirates’ new services will feature 8 First Class private suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class. Passengers can indulge in the airline’s renowned service and premium amenities across all classes, including regionally-inspired cuisine, complimentary beverages, and the ice inflight entertainment system. With up to 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment in over 40 languages, travelers can enjoy a plethora of movies, TV shows, music, games, audio books, and podcasts throughout their journey.
