iQIYI International Appoints Bai Lu as Global Ambassador

iQIYI continues its stride in the global entertainment landscape with the announcement of Bai Lu as its inaugural global ambassador for its international service.

Renowned for its top-notch C-dramas like “The Knockout” and “Story of Kunning Palace,” iQIYI has solidified its position as the go-to OTT platform for global C-drama enthusiasts. In fact, the platform dominated eight out of the top ten drama and variety show spots in 2023, according to the Enlightent Report.

Bai Lu, the newly appointed global ambassador, has captivated audiences worldwide with her stellar performances in several iQIYI blockbusters. From her versatile roles in “The Legends” and “Ordinary Greatness” to her captivating portrayal in “Love is Sweet,” “One and Only,” and “Forever and Ever,” Bai Lu has left an indelible mark on fans’ hearts. Notably, her role in “Story of Kunning Palace,” which aired on iQIYI last year, shattered records for reservations and popularity on the platform.

Fans can anticipate more riveting performances from Bai Lu on iQIYI, including upcoming titles like “Northward” and “Moonlight Mystique.”

Looking ahead, iQIYI is set to release over 200 exclusive Chinese-language shows, including highly anticipated titles such as “Fox Spirit Matchmaker 1,” “A Moment but Forever,” “Follow Your Heart,” “War of Faith,” and “The White Olive Tree.” Additionally, the platform will introduce 30 local titles from Southeast Asia, expanding its diverse content offerings for global audiences.
