Based on an extensive analysis of over 309 million verified customer reviews, a staggering 1,484,294 accommodations, 449 rental car companies, and 129 taxi providers globally have been honored with a prestigious Traveller Review Award for 2024.
In Singapore, a total of 162 accommodation partners have been recognized with the Traveller Review Award 2024, receiving an average review score of 8.5 from over 150,000 reviews. Among the esteemed recipients are iconic properties such as Marina Bay Sands, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, and The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, all boasting exceptional scores reflective of their commitment to excellence in hospitality.
While globally apartments continue to reign supreme as the most-awarded accommodation type, Singapore displays a preference for hotels, followed closely by aparthotels, hostels, capsule hotels, and resorts. This distinct trend underscores the diverse preferences of travellers in Singapore compared to their global counterparts.
Beyond accommodation, Booking.com also celebrates outstanding service in ground transportation. This year, 449 car rental partners from 26 countries and 129 taxi partners, including two from Singapore, are being recognized for their consistently excellent service and hospitality.
