Seniors Ride FREE: Singapore Cable Car Celebrates Golden Jubilee with Complimentary Rides

As the Singapore Cable Car marks its golden jubilee, the Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) is rolling out an exclusive celebration that invites Singaporean seniors aged 60 and above to soar through the skies at no cost! Every Tuesday throughout February and March 2024, seniors can relive the magic of cable car rides, courtesy of MFLG.

In addition to a complimentary round-trip ride on the Singapore Cable Car – Mount Faber Line, seniors will be treated to a $5 Food and Beverage (F&B) voucher valid across all MFLG-operated F&B establishments. This includes the renowned Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, a family-friendly restaurant serving delectable botanical-inspired dishes at Mount Faber Peak.

The celebration doesn’t stop there! Accompanying caregivers of Singaporean senior citizens can also avail a $5 Mount Faber Line round-trip ticket each, with the added perk of a complimentary $5 F&B voucher. A gesture from MFLG to recognize and appreciate the caregivers who play a crucial role in the lives of seniors.

But the jubilee festivities extend beyond the Tuesdays of February and March. From February 10th to 24th, locals can revel in a special 50% discount on the Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip) purchased at MFLG’s ticketing counters or online store. This pass offers a round-trip adventure on both the Mount Faber Line and Sentosa Line, providing a double dose of scenic delight.

As part of the ongoing Pokémon experience at Singapore Cable Car, MFLG is set to unveil its third and final phase, transforming 67 cable car cabins into a birthday-themed Pokémon paradise. Until April 30, 2024, guests can embark on a whimsical journey with Pokémon adorned in festive attire, including beloved characters like Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Snorlax. Capture these celebratory moments at the Sentosa cable car station, where a massive Pokémon feature wall awaits.

For those seeking a refreshing treat, participating in a social media giveaway is the key! Guests can win free ice cream by posting a photo in the Pokémon-themed cable car cabins on their personal Instagram or Facebook accounts with the hashtag #SGCableCar50 and tagging @MountFaberLeisure. The sweet reward can be redeemed at the Singapore Cable Car Gift Shop @ Mount Faber Peak and Singapore Cable Car Gift Shop @ Imbiah Lookout, with one redemption per visitor while stocks last.

Since its inauguration in 1974, the Singapore Cable Car has etched itself as an iconic attraction, ferrying over 60 million visitors between Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa. The year 2024 promises a jubilant celebration, inviting visitors to partake in the festivities and create enduring memories amidst the clouds.
