In a move set to enhance travel and economic ties between Vietnam and Taiwan, Vietjet has launched daily flights connecting the pristine Phu Quoc island to Taipei, Taiwan’s bustling economic hub. The inaugural flights marked a cheerful milestone for Vietjet’s Vietnam – Taiwan flight network, now featuring a total of eight routes.
The daily return flights from Phu Quoc to Taipei, and vice versa, aim to create more opportunities for tourism and trade development between the two regions. The flights from Phu Quoc to Taipei depart at 8:25, landing at 13:00 local time, while flights from Taipei to Phu Quoc take off at 14:00, arriving at 16:50 local time.
Phu Quoc, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque sunsets, has become a beloved destination for both domestic and international tourists. The famous coastal city in southern Vietnam offers an array of outdoor activities and landmarks such as Hon Thom Nature Park, Sao Beach, Bai Truong beach, and Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc. Moreover, foreign travelers visiting Phu Quoc can enjoy a visa exemption scheme for a stay of up to 30 days.
To celebrate the launch of the Phu Quoc – Taipei service, Vietjet is offering a grand ticket promotion for all international routes. Fares as low as USD0 (excluding tax and fees) are available every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until February 10, 2024.
