Skyscanner’s data reveals a surge in Singaporean travelers’ interest this year, with a 13% increase in travel search volume from December 26, 2023, to January 2, 2024, compared to the same period the previous year. Survey insights from Skyscanner also highlight that 95% of Singaporean travelers are eager to explore new destinations in 2024. However, 37% of respondents express the challenge of deciding where to go, while 73% trust advice from seasoned travelers who have extensively explored the world. Additionally, 49% admit to feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of booking travel in 2024.
In response to the weariness toward predictable destinations and concerns about travel expenses, Skyscanner introduces the ‘Everywhere Agency’ to assist cash and time-strapped Singaporeans.

The ‘Everywhere Agency’ connects seasoned travelers, known as Everywhere Agents, with consumers globally, offering valuable travel advice based on their extensive experiences. These experts aim to alleviate traditional travel anxieties about unknown destinations and help travelers discover less-traveled places without compromising on value. Travelers can explore tips provided by Everywhere Agents through the online Everywhere Guide or schedule exclusive 1:1 virtual appointments.
Powered by Skyscanner’s ‘Everywhere’ search, a travel hack that enables exploration of destinations ordered by price from thousands of travel sites, the ‘Everywhere’ search is currently the most sought-after destination for Singaporean travelers, emphasizing the desire to explore irrespective of the destination. Other popular destinations include Bangkok, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, and Seoul.
Recognizing Singapore’s diverse market with varied travel preferences, Skyscanner has enlisted the expertise of renowned travel personality Basanth Sadasivan, one of the youngest individuals to visit every country at the age of 25. Questions range from “Where’s the most memorable night out?” to “Where should everyone try a once-in-a-lifetime activity?” The Everywhere Guide also displays a Trip Snapshot for each suggested destination, presenting the lowest flight and hotel prices and the cheapest day to travel for any selected month of 2024.
