CapitaLand Investment (CLI) is set to elevate its retail ecosystem in Singapore with the expansion of its renowned CapitaStar programme to include two new locations: Entrepôt at The Robertson House by The Crest Collection and Changi City Point. This strategic move aims to diversify touchpoints for both shoppers and retailers, enriching the overall CapitaStar ecosystem.
Starting today, shoppers can now earn cashback rewards through the CapitaStar rewards programme, accruing STAR$ that can be used to offset purchases at Changi City Point or when dining at Entrepôt at The Robertson House by The Crest Collection. The introduction of these new earning opportunities further reinforces CapitaStar’s commitment to providing added value to its over 1.5 million members.
Moreover, CLI’s digital shopping voucher programme, eCapitaVoucher, a key component of CapitaStar, will be accepted as a payment mode at Entrepôt at The Robertson House from January 5, 2024, and at over 100 participating stores in Changi City Point from January 11, 2024. Notably, this expansion includes more than 20 new stores, broadening the accessibility of eCapitaVoucher as an in-store digital payment method at over 3,500 stores across 31 committed properties.
CapitaStar stands as Singapore’s premier lifestyle and rewards programme, boasting a membership of over 1.5 million individuals. In 2023 alone, the CapitaStar rewards programme contributed to tenant sales exceeding S$1.2 billion, demonstrating an impressive 8% year-on-year increase. This growth underscores the programme’s effectiveness in driving sales, boosting foot traffic, and enhancing consumer engagement for businesses.
Notably, the sales of eCapitaVoucher witnessed a remarkable year-on-year increase of more than 55%. Available for purchase or exchange using STAR$ earned from participating stores on the CapitaStar app, eCapitaVoucher has solidified its position as Singapore’s most widely accepted digital shopping voucher.
Beyond the rewards programme and eCapitaVoucher, the CapitaStar ecosystem comprises CapitaStar For Business and CapitaStar@Work. CapitaStar For Business offers businesses and retailers advanced enterprise data-driven digital marketing solutions, experiencing a substantial uplift of over 100% in generated revenue in 2023. This surge highlights the strong demand for holistic digital solutions within the CapitaStar ecosystem to optimize sales and consumer engagement.
CapitaStar@Work, CLI’s innovation lever for workspace properties, powers digital-led workspace experiences and integrated property-tech solutions for 91 workspace properties and 7 coworking spaces islandwide. The range of digital solutions includes contactless access to workspaces via facial recognition, meeting room bookings, and tenant engagement activities registration.
