If you’ve been dreaming of exploring the vibrant landscapes and diverse cultures of Australia, Jetstar Airways (JQ) has some fantastic news for you. Get ready to pack your bags as Jetstar announces a major boost in international flying from Southeast Asia to Australia in 2024, opening up exciting new routes and expanding existing ones.

New Flights to Perth

Jetstar is set to revolutionize travel with brand-new direct flights to Perth, the gateway to Western Australia. Starting from August 2024, the airline will operate up to six weekly flights between Singapore and Perth, providing a convenient and affordable option for travelers. Additionally, Jetstar will launch up to four weekly return flights from Phuket to Perth, allowing even more Southeast Asian adventurers to experience the beauty of Australia’s west coast. From September 2024, Bangkok will also be connected to Perth with up to four flights per week.

Jetstar is committed to sustainability, and these flights will be operated by the fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo LRs (NEO), contributing to a quieter and eco-friendly travel experience. Perth Airport will become home to up to four of these state-of-the-art aircraft, creating over 330,000 new low-fare seats annually between Perth and Southeast Asia.

Expanded Routes to Melbourne

Melbourne, a cultural hub and one of Australia’s most dynamic cities, will be even more accessible with increased flights from Singapore, Bangkok, and Phuket. Starting from 17 June 2024, Jetstar’s fleet of Boeing 787-8 aircraft will operate the following routes:
