Celebrating a Decade of Wonder: Christmas Wonderland 2023 is Officially Open

As the holiday season approaches, Singapore is set to sparkle with the return of Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay. Presented by Trip.com, this year marks the 10th edition of the iconic yuletide fair, promising an enchanting experience from 1 December 2023 to 1 January 2024. With a supersized fairground, dazzling light displays, new carnival rides, and an array of festive activities, Christmas Wonderland is ready to transport visitors into a world of wonder.

A Festive Playground Awaits

Covering over 27,000 square meters, the expanded fairground is divided into three magical zones: Supertree Grove, Frosty’s Fairground at The Meadow, and the newly created Gingerbread Grove. Each zone offers a unique blend of enchanting displays, carnival rides, and festive activities to captivate visitors of all ages.

Mesmerizing Light Displays

At the heart of Supertree Grove stands the Spalliera, a magnificent Italian handcrafted light display inspired by Mesola Castle. Lit by 103,000 bulbs, this 20-meter-tall masterpiece takes center stage. Visitors can also experience the magical Blizzard Time, a ‘snowfall’ in the tropics, and enjoy the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.

New Highlights

The Holly Roger ship, a whimsical 24-meter-long light display with approximately 127,000 bulbs, brings a merry pirate theme to the festivities.

The Walk of Lights, a 65-meter-long tunnel with approximately 75,000 programmable LED lights, offers a spellbinding experience.

Merry Lane, presented by Trip.com, features giant snowflakes and Santa’s boot, providing quirky backdrops for festive photos.

Carnival Thrills and Delights

Hop aboard the Christmas Train to Frosty’s Fairground at The Meadow, where classic amusement rides by Uncle Ringo await. Carnival games, illuminated playgrounds, and LumiLand’s enchanted seesaws and swings add to the excitement.

Gingerbread Grove

In the newly created Gingerbread Grove, a sugary-themed zone delights the senses. A vibrantly lit Gingerbread House and a field of illuminated candy canes create a sweet experience for visitors.

Festive Fare and Shopping

With twice the number of food outlets, Christmas Wonderland offers a gastronomic journey featuring popular establishments like Burger & Lobster and Kebabs Faktory. Festive tipples at themed bars and a Christmas market at Mistletoe Alley add to the holiday spirit.

Tickets and Timings

Tickets, starting from S$8 for adults and S$6 for children, can be purchased online at christmaswonderland.sg and Trip.com. The event offers four daily sessions starting from 6:30 pm, along with themed nights, including Pets’ Night.
