Get ready for an explosion of creativity and a celebration of global street culture as Singapore’s largest indoor all-day night festival, ARTBOX, makes a triumphant return this January with ARTBOX AVENUE. Taking over an impressive 105,000 sqft at Singapore Expo Hall 6, this immersive urban extravaganza promises an unforgettable tapestry of experiences.
As one of the first events of the year, ARTBOX AVENUE sets the stage for cultural unity and artistic innovation. Spanning two consecutive weekends from 26th to 28th January and 2nd to 4th February, this year’s installment is 50% larger than the 2023 edition, transforming the Singapore Expo into a vibrant hub of artistic expression.
Teaming up with Singapore’s wackiest content publisher, SGAG, for the second consecutive year, ARTBOX ensures a seamless fusion of vibrant creativity and engaging experiences for the anticipated 60,000 visitors.
The ARTBOX stage will host live performances by homegrown and international talents, creating a dynamic platform for artistic expression and cultural exchange. Meanwhile, the SGAG stage promises a riot of fun with the electrifying Hopscotch of Pain challenge, National Piak Cockroach Championship, and National Water Bottle Tornado Championship, offering cash prizes of $888 for the bravest contenders.
This year, ARTBOX introduces two exciting new zones: Central Avenue and Open Plaza, enhancing the festival experience for visitors. Central Avenue, with its three-level display of vibrantly decorated shipping containers, offers roving live performances and larger-than-life photo spots like the ARTBOX Street Press.
At the Open Plaza, cultures converge in a vibrant space pulsating with interactive and immersive activities. From Street Chess to relaxing massage sessions, the Open Plaza offers a diverse range of experiences, fostering an inclusive and engaging environment.
Indulge in a world of diverse global offerings with over 100 F&B stores and 140 retail outlets, offering everything from bold Southeast Asian flavors to timeless traditional tastes. Retro gaming enthusiasts will be thrilled by the array of classic arcade machines by TAP (The Arcade People), providing a nostalgic journey into the world of gaming fun.
Daily challenges and competitions add an extra layer of excitement, offering visitors the chance to showcase their skills and win enticing prizes. ARTBOX AVENUE truly caters to all tastes and interests, making it a cultural hub for people from all walks of life.
