WIN an Open Water Diver certification with PADI x Klook in your dive location of choice!

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and Klook, Asia’s premier travel and experiences platform, have joined forces to bring the wonders of the underwater world to enthusiasts worldwide. This groundbreaking partnership integrates PADI’s extensive range of diving products into Klook’s platform, offering a seamless booking experience for divers across the globe.

PADI, the world’s largest purpose-driven diving organization, boasts over 7,200 diving products, ranging from certification courses to thrilling snorkeling and fun dives, all accessible through Klook’s user-friendly platform. This marks Klook as the exclusive OTA in the Asia Pacific region collaborating with PADI, giving travelers the opportunity to book diving experiences in diverse locations, including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, and Singapore, with more exciting destinations to be added in the coming months.

Planning a dive trip can be an intricate process, involving careful consideration of dive sites, negotiation for packages, and coordination of travel details and no-fly times. Thanks to the integration of diving products on Klook’s platform through API, what used to take days can now be accomplished in under 5 minutes. Travelers can effortlessly compare prices, check availability, read reviews, and receive immediate confirmation, all within a single, streamlined platform.

With a growing appetite for unique experiences, especially in nature and outdoor activities, young Asian travelers are eager to incorporate adventures like scuba diving into their vacation plans. In 2023, China, Japan, and Korea witnessed a surge in new PADI certified divers, setting the stage for a robust recovery in the Asia Pacific diving tourism industry in 2024. The region’s revenue is projected to grow at a remarkable CAGR of 12.2% from 2022 to 2030.

In alignment with PADI’s mission to explore and protect the underwater world and Klook’s commitment to bringing the world closer together, the two partners are introducing UNIVER-SEA-TY, a pioneering program aimed at inspiring newcomers to dive and explore the enchanting underwater realm. To kick off the program, 33 fortunate winners will have the chance to earn an Open Water Diver certification with PADI in their chosen dive location.

Entering the contest is easy:

  • Via Instagram: Comment on Klook’s post, sharing why you want to dive, and tag three friends.
