Welcome the Guest-of-Honour, Senior Minister of State, Dr. Janil Puthucheary from the Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Health, to grace the occasion.

At the heart of Deepavali celebrations lies the enchanting rangoli, intricate patterns that come to life with vibrant colors and artistic flair. At Rangoli & Rhythm Celebration, put the finishing touches on rangoli, joining hands with the community to create a giant masterpiece that embodies the spirit of the festival. Witness the transformation of colors and designs into a captivating work of art.

Dance Like a Bollywood Star

Get ready for an electrifying Bollywood dance-off that will bring the drama and excitement of the silver screen to life. As the five finalist teams battle it out in person at the Sports Hub, the air will be filled with energy and rhythm. Each of the four runner-up teams will walk away with $100 Kallang Wave Mall vouchers, while the triumphant champions will seize $600 Kallang Wave Mall vouchers. Get ready to groove and cheer for your favorites!

Spice Up Your Deepavali with Flavors and Performances

The Deepavali weekend at Singapore Sports Hub promises a sensory delight for your taste buds and cultural appreciation. Don your elegant saree for a stunning photo, or let your creative side shine at Diya (lamp) painting station. Add your artistic touch to a clay lamp and take home a memento of your creative journey.

The event will be brimming with captivating performances. From mesmerizing Peacock Dance that imitates the graceful movement of peacocks to the breathtaking Karagam Dance showcasing the intricate footwork of performers balancing pots on their heads, you’ll be transported to the heart of traditional Indian culture. Don’t miss the Snake Charmer, who will enthrall you with his performance and even pose for photos, so you can capture the magic of the moment.

After all the activities, savor the rich flavors and deep aromas of Deepavali delicacies, including delights like Pani Puri and Murukku.

Chase the Lights of Little India

As night descends, embark on an open-top double-decker bus tour around Little India to soak in the dazzling festive lights and colorful displays. This visual and auditory experience lasts 45 minutes, starting and ending at the Singapore Sports Hub.
