Sim Leisure Group and KidZania Singapore Unveil Purpose Partners for KidZania 5.0

In an exciting development, Sim Leisure Group, a prominent theme park developer and operator listed on the Singapore Exchange’s Catalist board (SGX: URR), and KidZania Singapore, have unveiled a roster of notable local and regional brands as Purpose Partners for KidZania 5.0. The highly-anticipated KidZania 5.0 is set to open its doors in the first quarter of 2024. Substantial progress has been made with the refurbishment of the 7,600 square meter award-winning edutainment attraction located at Sentosa’s Palawan Beach.

The unveiling ceremony, a significant milestone in this project, was graced by prominent figures, including:

  • Xavier López Ancona, Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of KidZania.
  • Dato’ Sim Choo Kheng, Founder and Chairman of Sim Leisure Group.
  • Datin Silviya Georgieva, Governor of KidZania Singapore and Executive Director of Sim Leisure Group.
  • Philip Whittaker, Chief Executive Officer of Sim Leisure Group.

During this ceremony, the group introduced a lineup of new and returning brands that will play an integral role in bringing KidZania 5.0 to life. These Purpose Partners share a common vision of preparing the citizens of tomorrow to face the complex challenges of an ever-changing world. At KidZania Singapore, children will have the opportunity to engage in unique experiences brought to life by these Purpose Partners as they learn, play, and imagine within a self-contained, real-life environment.

  • ESCAPE (Outdoor Adventure).

  • Jac & Ivy (Beauty).
  • Kith café (F&B).
  • Kiss92 FM (Broadcast Media).

  • Suu Balm (Beauty).

Returning Purpose Partners

The award-winning edutainment attraction is set to introduce an exclusive camping experience, a first for KidZania Singapore. HA Launchpad, a returning local Purpose Partner, offers children the opportunity to camp while engaging in hands-on experiential learning. Another returning Purpose Partner, Intan Peranakan Home Museum, continues its mission to preserve and celebrate the Peranakan heritage and culture, offering an enjoyable learning environment for children to explore.

New Purpose Partners

New Purpose Partners, including Tea Social, Canadian Pizza, and Kiss92 FM, have joined forces to introduce fresh experiences and attractions for KidZania 5.0. The revamped KidZania Singapore is determined to inspire the younger generation to explore and pursue their passions. Furthermore, ongoing discussions are taking place with numerous local and regional brands across various sectors, including Banking, Airlines, Hospitality, and more, promising a diverse and enriching experience for visitors.
