Groove to the beat of music, beer and food at Brews & Beats 2023

As a dynamic hub that reflects the spirit and diversity of the local community, Bedok Mall is truly more than just a shopping haven in the heart of the vibrant Bedok neighbourhood – it’s a lifestyle.

And guess what? They’re turning up the excitement for Easties with Brews & Beats 2023 – the first-ever beer festival in Bedok Mall! From 16 to 24 October 2023, watch as the Basement 2 Atrium transforms into party central with an awesome lineup of live musical performances, refreshing craft beers, and mouthwatering snacks that guarantee a great time for everyone.

But what can you expect from this nine-day extravaganza?

Archipelago Brewery

First, make your way to Archipelago Brewery, Singapore’s first commercial brewery that made its way into the Red Dot in 1931. Boasting a meticulously crafted line of beers that has a wide selection of flavours, Archipelago Brewery has become a favourite for both casual drinkers and beer enthusiasts alike.

Their signature beers include the Singapore Blonde Ale, a superstar-in-a-bottle which puts a cool twist on a Singaporean classic with the refreshing addition of calamansi lime and pandan leaves.

Another crowd favourite is the Tropical Pale Ale, a delicious blend of citrus and passionfruit flavours that is inspired by the sun, sea, and Singapore. Have a sip of the island life with a twist of aromatic delight.

If you want something different, the limited edition Hefe Beer is a good choice!

Breadfirst Everyday

Go carbo-loading at Breadfirst Everyday, which is known for their generous servings of delectable brunch choices and delicious rosti. Tucked in a hidden corner at the Mee Sek Food Court, Breadfirst Everyday opened its doors in July 2022 and has since been attracting more patrons who enjoy cheap, all-day brunch food.

Make sure to try their Rosti Platter served with salad, pork sausage, scrambled eggs, and sour cream. Love waffles? Their Chicken Cutlet on Waffles shouldn’t be missed. Milky and buttery, it complements the scrambled eggs and sausage to perfection.

The Snack Family

Go easy on the tummy and head to The Snack Family which brings the snacking experience to a whole new level with unique flavours of seaweed crackers and pasta chips that are packed in two handy sizes, 130g, and 175g respectively – perfect for snacking alone or with a friend to share.

Spicy flavours for their seaweed crackers include Mala, Wasabi, and Tom Yum. For non-spicy lovers, they have Himalayan Salt, Truffles, and Salted Egg for you to dig in.

For the pasta chips, they have Black Pepper, Smoked Chili and Garlic, and Spicy Grilled Prawn for those who want it hot and spicy. Meanwhile, non-spicy flavours include Cheese, Tomato, and Sour Cream & Onion.

Want to bring home a bottle? Get them at $9.90 each or get 3 for $24.90.

Ramly Burger

Originally from Malaysia, Ramly Burger has enjoyed its popularity in the streets of Singapore for years. From its humble beginnings as a street food sensation to now being part of a beloved fast-food institution, Ramly Burger has become synonymous with indulgent and affordable burger offerings.

Great as an easy snack of the day, you can have a Ramly Burger for $5, Wadeh for $2, Chicken Skin for $5, 5 Goreng Pisang for $4, Keropok Lekor for $4, Keropok Slick for $4, Bakwan for $3, Apam Balik for $4 + $1 if you want additional topping.

What is a beerfest without live music? At Brews & Beats 2023, they’ve got this covered to ensure you a trifecta of experiences–enjoying delicious food, sipping on an ice-cold beer, and grooving to live music.

Should you fancy a weekend trip, prepare to get swept off your feet with live performances from 545pm onwards. Feel the rhythm with local duo Roseville on 20 Oct, rock out with Reverie’s classic rock tunes and funk hits on 21 Oct, and be serenaded by singer and songwriter Jurine on 22 Oct.
