In a vibrant celebration of its first anniversary, OCBC Wisma Atria is unveiling a host of new lifestyle partners, marking a significant milestone in its strategy to enhance customer engagement and attract a diverse clientele.
The bank’s Wisma Atria branch has emerged as a bustling hub, welcoming an impressive number of visitors, approximately double the footfall seen in traditional banking-only branches. A key driver of this surge in visitors is the enticing mix of food and beverage options and retail partners spread across the sprawling 20,000 square foot space, catering to the preferences of both shoppers and banking customers.
As part of this anniversary celebration, OCBC Wisma Atria is proudly introducing Baristart Coffee, a renowned café, as one of its latest additions. Located at the café storefront within the branch, this marks Baristart Coffee’s third outpost in Singapore. Patrons can relish a selection of their signature coffees and delectable cream puffs made with Hokkaido BIEI Jersey milk. The café’s menu also boasts mouthwatering dishes such as the obihiro butadon (grilled pork belly with rice) and wafu pasta, promising an exceptional culinary experience.
In an exciting move, OCBC Wisma Atria has revitalized its approach to art offerings. Departing from its previous collaboration with a commercial art gallery, the branch is now working with independent curators, non-profit organizations, and individual artists. This dynamic shift means that the art showcased within the branch changes every quarter, enriching the diversity of art available for customers to explore.
Currently, OCBC is collaborating with Dong Lee Investment Private Limited until December 2023, promoting Chinese arts and crafts in Singapore and Southeast Asia. In January 2024, the branch will join forces with Art Outreach, a local non-profit arts intermediary advocating visual literacy and critical thinking.
The partnership between OCBC and its lifestyle partners has yielded impressive results. BookXcess, OCBC Wisma Atria’s books partner, has experienced a remarkable 20% increase in sales since it began operating in the branch in September 2022. Meanwhile, homewares and lifestyle retailer Crane Living has successfully hosted over 15 pop-ups at OCBC Wisma Atria, attracting more than 12,000 visitors.
The bank continues its collaboration with award-winning furniture and lifestyle label SCENE SHANG and omakase restaurant Sushi Moka, underscoring the value of these fruitful partnerships.
As OCBC Wisma Atria marks its first anniversary, customers can look forward to special pop-ups and exclusive offers from now until November. These anniversary festivities are a testament to the branch’s commitment to delivering an enhanced banking and lifestyle experience for its valued customers.
