This inaugural ranking, organized by 50 Best and independently curated by The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy, showcases exceptional hospitality experiences from around the globe. The announcement, made on 19 September, has generated tremendous buzz in the travel and hospitality industry.

For over a century, Raffles Singapore has been an integral part of the nation’s history. Established in 1887 and later designated a National Monument in 1987 by the Singapore Government, this 136-year-old heritage hotel seamlessly blends neo-Renaissance architecture with contemporary luxury. Its halls resonate with the charm of bygone eras while delivering world-class service and a wide range of offerings.

“The World’s 50 Best Hotels” list is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the individuals who make exceptional guest experiences possible. Organized by 50 Best, a subsidiary of the renowned William Reed publishing company, this list is a culmination of the opinions and experiences of a panel of 580 seasoned hotel and travel industry experts. Leading this distinguished group are nine Academy chairs, each representing different corners of the globe.
