Get ready for the most significant event in the world of veterinary professionals and animal health leaders as the Singapore Vet Show 2023 returns for its third edition! This grand conference and exhibition, which is Asia’s largest, is set to take place at the prestigious Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on 13 & 14 October 2023.

Organized by CloserStill Media in partnership with the Singapore Vet Association (SVA) and supported by the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), this event offers a golden opportunity for veterinary professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills, and expertise through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

A Platform for Innovation and Learning

The Singapore Vet Show 2023 is not just an event; it’s a celebration of the cutting-edge technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of veterinary medicine. With an expected turnout of 1,500 attendees, this year’s show boasts a lineup of 25 esteemed speakers, including luminaries such as Dr. Haoting Chow, President of SVA. It also features a display of 110 leading veterinary brands, with notable exhibitors like Mindray Animal Medical, Mars Vet Health Asia, Elanco, MaxiPro, Orthomed, and many more.

Adding to the prestige of the event is the presence of Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information & National Development, who will grace the occasion as the Guest-of-Honor.

Mental Health in Focus

This year, the Singapore Vet Show addresses a pressing concern in the veterinary field: mental health. Engaging dialogues and interactive workshops, led by mental health experts, will provide invaluable insights and resources to address the mental health challenges faced by veterinary professionals. The demanding nature of the profession, coupled with ethical dilemmas, often leads to depression, anxiety, and burnout among practitioners.

Experts like Evonne Yong, Head Veterinary Technician at The Animal Clinic, and Quah Xin Jie, Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic, will share their insights on this crucial topic. In addition to mental health discussions, they will also tackle some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, including career advancement, work-life balance, and compensation.

Unlocking CPD Opportunities

The Singapore Vet Show 2023 offers an exclusive preview of the RVC Clinical Theatre 1 and 2 programs, allowing attendees to earn up to 17 hours of CPD in just two days. This presents a golden opportunity for professional development while gaining insights into the latest advancements in companion animal health.
