Step into a world of empowerment, support, and positive vibes at the annual Beyond the Label (BTL) Fest! It’s that time of the year again to come together, celebrate mental well-being, and stand with those who inspire us every day.
Hosted by the BTL Collective, led by the National Council of Social Service and TOUCH Community Services, this remarkable event promises a day filled with insights, workshops, performances, and more. Save the date: 8 September!
This year, BTL Fest revolves around the theme, “Mental Wellness Begins with All of Us.” It’s a gentle reminder that taking care of our mental well-being is a collective effort, one that starts with each of us. Whether in our homes, schools, communities, or workplaces, every small step we take contributes to a healthier and more supportive environment for everyone.
From soothing aromatherapy and wellness sessions to creative Zentangle art workshops, BTL Fest offers an array of interactive event booths and workshops throughout the day. Dive into sand play therapy, engage in a captivating Human Library session, and discover resources like Belle, the BTL helpbot, designed to assist you on your mental well-being journey.
As the sun sets, get ready for an enchanting evening. Be mesmerized by performances from the talented Annette Lee and students from various educational institutions as they share their mental health stories through their art. Local celebrities Rebecca Lim and Tasha Low, along with content creator Zaki Hussain, will engage in a heartwarming fireside chat. They’ll discuss the importance of seeking help and supporting one another to promote mental well-being.
The event will be graced by the esteemed Guest-of-Honour, President Halimah Yacob, and attended by Senior Parliamentary Secretary Eric Chua. Feel the energy and embrace the spirit of unity as you connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for mental wellness.
Several retailers at Jewel, Changi Airport have joined the BTL movement with exciting promotions. Show your commitment to positive mental well-being and seize the chance to redeem exclusive merchandise like the charming BTL tote bag and delightful BTL x Tily Tea Set (available while stocks last).
Mark your calendar for 8 September! It’s a day to stand together, take meaningful steps toward enhanced mental well-being, and show unwavering support for individuals facing mental health conditions. Join the BTL Fest and be part of a community dedicated to positive change.
