Get ready to be charmed by a truly paw-some spectacle this Mid-Autumn Festival! The enchanting Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) is teaming up with toymaker 52Toys’ Panda Roll series to bring you an unforgettable outdoor installation – “A Mid-Autumn Paw-trait.”
From 29 August to 1 October 2023, the SYSNMH front lawn will be home to not one, but two magnificent giant panda lanterns. These larger-than-life creations are a celebration of the Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival and will be a sight to behold for visitors of all ages.
Two adorable giant panda lanterns will grace the SYSNMH grounds. One sits in a leisurely pose, capturing the essence of panda relaxation, while the other strikes a stretching stance, showing off its playful side.
These endearing displays pay tribute to these iconic creatures and shed light on the successful conservation efforts that have led to the reclassification of the giant panda’s status from ‘endangered’ to ‘vulnerable.’
