Van Leeuwen brings Authentic French Ice Cream Experience to Singapore with New Scoop Shop Opening in Orchard Central

Van Leeuwen, the renowned cult-favourite ice cream brand from Brooklyn, New York, is set to make waves in Singapore with the opening of its first overseas scoop shop in early August 2023 at Orchard Central. Known for its honest-to-goodness French ice cream made with double the amount of egg yolks and vegan ice cream crafted with real natural whole ingredients, Van Leeuwen has become a national phenomenon in the United States, boasting over 50 scoop stores.

The journey of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream began humbly in 2008, with a bright yellow ice cream truck on the streets of New York City. Over the years, it has grown into a beloved brand known for its dedication to quality and flavour. Their French ice cream is made with the finest small producers’ sourced ingredients from around the world, eschewing artificial stabilizers, thickeners, and emulsifiers to deliver an unparalleled texture and mouthfeel.

Managed by Caerus Holding, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Singapore is eagerly anticipated to open its doors in Orchard Central, presenting a dedicated scoop shop-and-dine experience. The menu will feature a delightful array of classic ice cream and vegan ice cream flavours. Patrons can indulge in timeless favourites such as Sicilian Pistachio, Earl Grey Tea, and Mint Chip, while also savouring all-American delights like Honeycomb, Marionberry Cheesecake, Praline Butter Cake, and many more.

The Opening Scoop

To celebrate the momentous occasion, the first 100 customers in line at the scoop shop’s opening will receive custom-designed Van Leeuwen Tote Bags as a token of appreciation. Customers beyond the 100th spot will receive lucky tokens, granting them the chance to score limited-edition merchandise or even additional scoops through a thrilling Gashapon machine.
