Functional and Sustainable ÖMSESIDIG and SAMMANLÄNKAD collections to arrive in IKEA Singapore stores this March!

IKEA collaborates with rising stars across a variety of creative scenes on home furnishings that bring together IKEA design values and Latin American traditions and expressions. Showcasing the rich culture and authentic stories from the region, the collection is designed to inspire easy and spontaneous socialising both inside and outside the home.

From 30 March, look out for the playful mix of products ranging from glass and tableware to party garlands, funky lampshades, eye-catching textiles and characterful carrier bags.

ÖMSESIDIG carrier bag ($3.90)

The regular IKEA FRAKTA bag is an iconic hold-all, but stand out from the crowd with the ÖMSESIDIG carrier bag by Diana Ordóñez, inspired from masks commonly found at Colombian carnivals.

ÖMSESIDIG pendant lampshade ($7.90)

The ÖMSESIDIG pendant lampshade is made from rice paper, with an attachable fringe that waves in the breeze. Designed by Liliana Ovalle, the lampshade will bring the life and soul to gatherings.

ÖMSESIDIG glass ($24.90/4pcs)

ÖMSESIDIG glass by Liliana Ovalle incorporates glass blowing and coloured glass chips for a delightful assortment of colourful confetti glassware that will delight everyone gathered in the home.

ÖMSESIDIG picnic blanket ($39.90)

Inspired by the diversity of Mexican celebrations, the ÖMSESIDIG picnic blanket by Marisol Centeno is made to be shared. Roll it out for cosy moments with family and friends, or bring it along for an al fresco gathering. The waterproof backing ensures that wet grass won’t spoil the fun.

SAMMANLÄNKAD LED solar-powered table lamp ($149/ea)
