The LEGO Group is ushering in the Year of the Rabbit by encouraging the spirit of togetherness through building fun family moments and celebrating traditions. To facilitate quality playtime, the brand has introduced two new Lunar New Year festive sets.
From 12 January to 5 February, families can also look forward to a fun-filled adventure at Suntec City and create new memories with exciting activities and exclusive promotions at the LEGO Prosperity Burrows event.
Featuring buildable golden ingots in the traditional Yuan Bao design, koi fish for good luck, red pockets symbolising good wishes and fortune and the “Zhao Cai Jin Bao” greeting that welcomes fortune and treasures into the home.
The second display piece has buildable mudan peony flowers, and the “Hwa Kai Fu Gui” greeting, which means blooming prosperity and happiness.
With 18 LEGO minifigures, including a performer in a rabbit outfit, two masked performers, five musical performers with instrument accessories, and LEGO performers dressed as Monkie Kid, a pirate, an astronaut and a knight, engage in hours of creative building and recreate the joyous atmosphere of a traditional Lunar New Year Parade!
This set can be rebuilt into a bunny that munches on a carrot, a cockatoo parrot that perches on trees, or a white seal enjoying a fish as a snack! With this versatile set, families can explore intergenerational role-playing together.
Featuring cherished aspects of Chinese traditions through food, music, games and traditional costumes.
Prepare for the big match in a tournament truck loaded with trendy equipment and merchandise.
Experiment with various styles, and stop by for a sweet treat at the gumball machine on their way out of the salon.
The above sets are available at LEGO Certified Stores (LCS), LEGO Official Store on Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, as well as major retailers and department stores in Singapore.
From 12 January to 5 February, families are invited to a themed adventure with the LEGO Prosperity Burrows event. Organised in partnership with Suntec City, the Atrium (Tower 1 and 2) will have an abundance of surprises and treasures in store. Team up with your loved ones to explore and play together in a bunny’s world!
To usher in the festive spirit, each family will be given a Starter Kit to participate in the Prosperity Carrot Hunt onsite. From cleaning the burrows with a specially curated LEGO Cleaning Machine at the Spring Clean Tu-gether station to inviting visitors to a festive hop at the Harmonise Tu-gether station, families can come together to complete these themed challenges and win a LEGO polybag.
Let your creativity flow freely over at the community build, where all are invited to add their personal touch to decorate a life-size Lunar New Year greeting with LEGO bricks.
From 14 January onwards, you can decorate a base plate to contribute to the community build, and score an additional LEGO polybag to add to their collection. The community build activity is available to all on a first come, first serve basis and will conclude once the LEGO wall is fully decorated.
To commemorate the fun-filled adventure, there will also be plenty of photo opportunities around the space, including a giant bunny centrepiece with a 360-degree rotation to snap a photo with! On 14, 15, 28 and 29 January, you can also catch special appearances by LEGO mascots at 4pm to collect limited LEGO red packets with minifigures, while stocks last.
