Staycation Like a Celebrity with Holiday Inn Singapore Little India’s latest staycation package

IHG Hotels & Resorts collaborates with Singapore’s hip-hop star Yung Raja, offering IHG One Rewards members the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to “Guest How Yung Raja Guests” with a specially curated bookable experience at Holiday Inn Singapore Little India for stays from 21 November 2022 to 31 January 2023.

Dubbed Southeast Asia’s next avant-garde hip-hop artist, Yung Raja is known for his unique artistry that blends styles, cultures, and languages in his music and lyrics – an essence that IHG Hotels & Resorts has brought to life with the inaugural “Guest How Yung Raja Guests” experience, which will show you how to “turnt up” (or get hyped) or “wind down” the way Yung Raja does.

Featuring a combination of the traditional and contemporary, infused with elements of traditional Indian culture, the experience will include:

Turnt Up (or get hyped up)

  • The Spice Boy Welcome – An assortment of favourite traditional bar snacks on a tray, alongside bottles of refreshing cold pressed juices loaded up in the mini fridge.
  • Mad Blessings – A gender neutral wrist corsage made of some of Yung Raja’s favourite flowers, including jasmines, roses, and tuberoses.
  • Feels Like Paradise – A welcome note personally signed by Yung Raja (limited to the first 20 bookings), which includes a specially curated itinerary for guests to enjoy Little India the way Yung Raja does, featuring some of his favourite haunts and hidden gems in the precinct.

Wind Down

  • Vibe Like Raja – A playlist of some of Yung Raja’s favourite South Indian and Tamil bops, put together by the artist himself for guests to enjoy.
  • Mami Knows Best – A set of premium amenities consisting of fun travel essentials, including bamboo toiletries, aromatherapy, a furoshiki wrap, and even a loofah.
  • AIYO It’s Late – Everything a night owl would appreciate, from an all-day breakfast to a (very) flexible 4pm check out entitlement.

Part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts’ global marketing campaign “Guest How You Guest”, the celebrity partnerships first kicked off in the US with GRAMMY award-winning artist Jazmine Sullivan and former world number 1 tennis player Andy Roddick, and has since launched worldwide, including Thailand with actor Golf Pichaya at Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, and Vietnam with actress-model Ninh Duong Lan Ngọc at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake.

The series aims to forge a deeper connection with current members and a new generation of travellers. Each celebrity partnership is designed to remind people how great it feels to be cared for as a guest and when it comes to travel, it’s not one-size-fits-all. So, whether it’s guesting like a glamorous celebrity or relishing sleeping solo in that king-sized bed, IHG passionately believes that when people are cared for, they feel free to be themselves and gain the most from their travel experiences.

To book the “Guest How Yung Raja Guests” experience, please visit Holiday Inn Singapore Little India. Room rates start from S$388++ per night.
