Savour your favourite Andersen’s Ice Cream on the go with the new 100ml Dandy Cup

Andersen’s of Denmark is excited to launch new menu items – including a 100ml Dandy cup, the Korean special Bingsu with a Danish fusion and CSR programmes that give back to the environment and community.

Andersen’s creates gourmet ice creams by sourcing premium ingredients from all over the world including milk from Australia, premium chocolate from Belgium and signature flavours from Denmark. They create pure ice cream using the best of ingredients. Andersen’s began with the traditional recipe of Danish ice cream centred around their traditional cone and ice cream recipe which dates back three generations. This recipe is still the secret to their creamy and smooth ice cream.

Dandy Cup

A new smaller serving cup – The Dandy Cup is being launched which will allow you to enjoy single person servings on the go in a 100ml packaging. This is available in addition to the 473ml packaging for the entire family to enjoy. The new serving size will make it easy for you to enjoy premium ice cream on the go.

Danish Inspired Bingsu

Andersen’s is introducing an all-new menu item – Danish Inspired Bingsu. A fusion concept that sees premium Danish ice cream flavours added to the traditional Korean dessert made from fine ice shavings, mounted with a variety of toppings. Bingsu is made with the freshest fruits and boiled red bean ice to give you a melt in the mouth texture.

Like every other menu offered at Andersen’s, the Danish Inspired Bingsu has the most premium ingredients and is served in a traditional Danish environment in the cafe. Andersen’s is offering four delectable Bingsu flavours including mango blondie, creamy cookies, strawberry tickles, and triple chocolate fantasy.

Belgian waffles

Adding to their line-up of new items, the all-new and improved Belgian waffle is being introduced to Andersen’s. The Belgian waffle is made using Andersen’s tried and tested recipe with authentic Belgian ingredients. The product is a crispy-on-the-outside and fluffy-and-soft-on-the-inside waffle.

The waffles can be customised with a variety of toppings such as fruits, like bananas and berries, confectioneries like chocolate rice, marshmallows, and rainbow sprinkles and a variety of sauces. All of these are finished with a scoop of premium Andersen’s ice cream in your preferred flavour.

CSR programme

This year, Andersen’s will further their mission to spread happiness by hosting monthly workshops for children on the third Sunday of each month to cultivate good reading habits in children.

Andersen’s will have volunteer teachers run workshops based on Danish author Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales. The workshops will be hosted at Andersen’s flagship branch, Jewel, and will feature a storytelling session and a craft workshop. Participants will then receive a free scoop of ice-cream and bookstore vouchers. The first of these workshops was held on 16 October 2022.
