Mummy-and-daughter duo, Celine (then 39-year-old) and Reeyern (then 10-year-old), worked together to start a home-baking business, Ree and Mummy (@reeandmummy) during Covid-19 Circuit Breaker to support the family finances.
Their innovative and delicious creations were well received and it managed to quickly amass a loyal following since. Owning a café was a distant dream, but it finally came true today with the official opening of Ree.Connect by Ree and Mummy at Katong V (#01-03), a simple and cosy 12-seater that serves up Ree and Mummy’s signature bakes, and more.

The number one bestseller, is a creamy but light cheesecake that has the perfect balance of sweetness from the charred pineapple and cheese.

With Celine handling the bakes and her sister-in-law, Ashley Ng, responsible for the front of house, Celine’s husband, Mark Ng, joins this family-style café by churning out yummy gelato creations – Gelato by Ree and Mummy ($4.00 per single scoop, $7.50 for double scoop, additional $1.00 for premium flavours).
