Tiger Celebrates 90th Anniversary in Singapore, launches Limited Edition Anniversary Cans, Stylish Street Swags and the return of Tiger Time

Do you know the Tiger beer brand is older than Singapore as an independent nation?

Born in Singapore since 1932 when the island was still part of Malaya, Tiger celebrates 90 years of boldness, progress this year. Before Tiger, it was once believed that no beer can be brewed in the Asian heat. Yet, Tiger defied the odds to create a world-acclaimed tropical lager that is born in the streets of Singapore.

This story of defying expectations and overcoming the odds mirrors the progress of Singapore as a nation and it’s that same spirit of boldness that will the brand moving forward. Honouring this common journey with Singapore, Tiger’s 90th anniversary seeks to rally Singaporeans together to roar as one, raising a toast to Tiger and the Lion City we all call home.

To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Tiger is uncaging a line-up of initiatives to bring people, possibilities, and passions together.

For a start, Tiger launched a limited-edition Tiger and Tiger Crystal anniversary can packaging and a collection of Tiger street swag featuring Tiger and the Merlion motifs, inviting Singaporeans to be part of the celebrations and wear local pride on our sleeves.

The street swags are pretty swanky I must say, I really like the design of the reversible hat and the bold design and colour printed on the other items.

Over the months of August and September, Tiger will also be bringing back and uncaging Tiger Time, featuring unbeatable happy hour promotions across the island.

The limited-edition Tiger and Tiger Crystal are now available in can packs via dedicated sales channels island-wide, while stocks last.
