I am a forgetful person and have a tendency to misplace my things, including my home keys. Wouldn’t life be so much more convenient if all our home doors can be unlocked with a digital access card, or even better still, a set of secure pin numbers or our fingerprints?
Starke Digital Lock seeks to do just that for all Singaporean households, providing affordable Digital Locks that is suitable for all HDB, condominium and private estate doors here.
Priced from just S$559 to S$699, inclusive of installation fees, a full refund policy, free pre-purchase consultation and a two year onsite warranty, Starke is so confident of their product and service offerings that they even featured a comparison chart on their website against similar digital locks offered by competitor brands like Samsung, Schlage and Hafele:
Their flagship Starke Désignerin digital lock, priced at S$559, comes with FIVE access modes:
We have it installed recently at my parents’ home recently and it is so easy to use!
Never again would I have to rumble my pockets or bags for my keys or RFID card when I am at the door. If I forgot my passcode or had greasy fingers that cannot be read on the fingerprint scanner, fret not, there are so many other options to unlock the door safely and in a secure manner.
You get the best of both worlds for security and convenience with the Starke Désignerin digital lock.
I find it particularly useful when I am out for a jog below my parent’s HDB block, without having to bring along a bulky bunch of keys or even an odd-shaped RFID tag or card in the pocket. Being able to unlock the door with just my fingerprint or via a mobile app means one less item to carry when I go jogging.
Other smart features of the digital lock include the ability to monitor your visitor entry records, voice-guided operation, auto secure and break-in alarm, as well as remote unlock and temporary password, among others. The last two features are extremely useful when you have a trusted friend or relative at your door but you are not home yet. Now you can remotely unlock door for them via your mobile or provide them with a temporary password for one-time use.
My parents are not tech savvy and the idea of installing a digital lock intimidated them at first. After a free pre-sales consultation with Starke, they were sold with the idea and decided to give it a try. The rest is history.
Now, they are so used to the convenience and security of the digital lock that they forgotten about their initial inhibitions!

Can I enquire whether you face the problem of inaccuracy of the digital lock time vs real time? I.e. the time on digital lock is slower than real time and the difference gets accumulatively greater as time pass?
