New Launch Kueh Lapis Legit & Steamed Ma Lai Gao @ Mdm Ling Bakery

Calling all Kueh lovers! Mdm Ling Bakery has recently added Kueh Lapis Legit and steamed Ma Lai Gao to their menu.

Kueh Lapis Legit

Left to Right: Signature Original Kueh Lapis Legit, Pandan Kueh Lapis Legit, Chocolate Kueh Lapis Legit, Hawthorn Kueh Lapis Legit

The Kueh Lapis Legit comes in 4 flavors: Signature Original, Pandan, Chocolate, and Hawthorn. Each one is deftly handcrafted, pillowy soft, and moist with a fragrant buttery aroma.

Legit or not? To anyone wondering why the word “Legit” is being repeated behind every Kueh Lapis name, it simply means “rich in taste” in Indonesian.

If sweet is not your thing, this is for you! The cakes are well-calibrated to be just mildly sweet. Each bite is “legit” smooth and rich in taste.

But for those who have a big sweet tooth like me, I got a hack! Gently wrap the Kueh Lapis in baking paper. Bake it at 150 degrees for 7 mins to get a sweeter Kueh Lapis with a crunchy top layer!

Signature Original Kueh Lapis Legit

Kueh Lapis has been a childhood favorite of mine and the fragrance of the Signature Original Kueh Lapis Legit totally awakens my taste buds and sends me back in time with its balanced blend of spices.

A piece of Signature Original Kueh Lapis Legit, a piece of nostalgia …

Pandan Kueh Lapis Legit

If you prefer something light on your taste bud, try the Pandan Kueh Lapis Legit! The pandan smell is not too strong and it tastes as naturally good as its pandan green appearance.

Chocolate Kueh Lapis Legit

All chocolate lovers! Don’t miss out on this Chocolate Kueh Lapis Legit. This rendition with both smooth chocolate paste and Belgium Chocolate chips is in-Kueh-dibly interesting. Though the chocolaty taste is not very strong, it gave this Kueh Lapis a very decadent flavor.

“As long as there is chocolate, there will be happiness.”

Hawthorn Kueh Lapis Legit

The interplay between the lightly salted butter flavor, and the sweet and tangy haw flakes makes the Hawthorn Kueh Lapis Legit in-Kueh-dibly appetizing and addictive. Would strongly recommend this.
