With May Day and Mother’s Day just around the corner, Downtown East has curated a value-added programme for you and your family (NTUC members and the public).
The Drive-in Movie Screening, which will take place at Downtown East’s Begonia Open-air Carpark (along Pasir Ris Drive 3), will be showing Marvel’s blockbuster Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.
Admission is $25 per car, recommended for up to three pax for the best-unblocked viewing experience. It includes two complimentary burgers and two drinks (worth $14). You can add additional snacks – a burger and a drink for $7; 32oz Popcorn for $4.50; and 32oz Candy Floss for $5.

Just a minute away from the drive-in is a new attraction, Let’s Play @ D’Marquee. Happening from 7 May to 26 June, the 17,000 sq ft inflatable playground will feature 14 “rides” such as the Virtual Reality shooting game; King Kong Robots; new and improved mini dinosaur rides; plus a variety of bouncy castles and sandpits.
Tickets are available at KKDAY at $25 (weekdays) and $28 (public holidays, school holidays and eve of PH) per pax for 100 minutes of playtime.
The upcoming urban farming Metro Farm is set to open with much fanfare at Downtown East’s Level 7 Rooftop Carpark.

Over at Aranda Country Club, AS:PA, a contemporary Asian-inspired Spanish tapas restaurant, will soon open at Aranda Country Club.
Inspired by casual homestyle cooking, it combines traditional Spanish food with Asian ingredients to create more robust flavours. The casual-style neighbourhood restaurant is also the first to launch the Spanish paella cooked in claypot.
For the first time in his wealth of experience in Japanese cuisine, Chef Futao of Downtown East’s Gaku Sushi Bar is revealing the first dish he cooked for his mum.
