Lazada launches new Laz Mama Shop offering essential grocery items and commits to keeping prices low and affordable

Lazada launches Laz Mama Shop, a new LazMall store and alternative grocery offering for less time-sensitive consumers who have smaller baskets of dry, non-perishable products.

Laz Mama Shop opens with close to 6,000 essential ambient grocery items, from household items, beverages, snacks, cooking essentials and baby essentials, with free shipping for orders over $40.

With a focus on Daily Best Price Essentials, the new store offers a popular range of items from over 1,000 well-known international and local brands, including Super, F&N, Ayam Brand, RedMan, TOP, Kleenex and more, with exclusive discounts to help Singapore households manage rising inflation and global increase in food prices.

Laz Mama Shop presents a smaller, basket friendly option for you to get free delivery (>$40), and orders will be delivered through our regular Lazada delivery partners. Not only does this free up precious RedMart delivery slots for orders with Fresh and Frozen products, but you can also leverage Lazada’s digital shopping experience of games, coins, and challenges, and apply it to your grocery essentials for bigger savings.

Laz Mama Shop will offer daily flash sales with discounts up to 40% and introduces a new Flexi Combo Deal for all Daily Best Price Essentials products on the store, where shoppers save more when they buy multiple products across various categories in any combination.

RedMart on Price Kaki

Launched in 2019 and developed by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE), RedMart by Lazada signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to be the first online supermarket to be a part of the app and contribute prices of a selected range of products.

Price Kaki allows you to compare the prices of household essentials, groceries, and hawker food, offering transparency across different providers to help you manage your costs and expenditure.

The MOU was signed by CASE president, Mr Melvin Yong, and Lazada Singapore chief executive, Mr Loh Wee Lee, and witnessed by Minister of State for Ministry of Trade and Industry Ms Low Yen Ling.

RedMart Inflation Busters

You can enjoy up to a 5% discount daily on a selected range of 200 grocery products identified as daily essentials. This includes products from RedMart Private Label (RMPL), RedMart’s flagship brand dedicated to providing high-quality commodities at affordable price points, with a focus on products that are sustainably sourced with little to no additives.

There are currently 500 RMPL products across 15 categories.

These slew of initiatives taps on a S$50 million pool to support Singapore shoppers, via cashback and other platform mechanisms. This includes Everyday Cashback, a rebate on the Lazada platform that provides you with cashback on a growing list of over 600,000 items across product categories, including Home & Lifestyle, Electronics, Health & Beauty and more.

By buying eligible cashback products, you will earn credits that can be used to claim Lazada vouchers and offset future purchases.
