From the same folks who brought us the affordable LUMOS Smart Projector, comes another new product, the LUMOS NANO, a 2-In-1 Portable Projector and Bluetooth Speaker.
I had been playing with the LUMOS NANO the past few weeks and found it especially nifty and convenient. The electronic device weighs less than 300g and is the size of a coffee mug, making it easy to carry around. Each charge gives around two hours of wireless playtime, enough for a short movie.
Portable Cinema
What I found really fun about the NANO was that you can use it to project anywhere, including the ceiling of your home for a theatrical experience. This feature comes especially handy in space-starved Singapore homes where there may not be many wide, open walls for screen projections.
My son had fun casting the projection from the NANO all over – on our ceiling, cupboard walls and even his pillows.
Running on the Android 9.0 system, you can play movies from your favourite apps like Netflix and YouTube easily with LUMOS’ own inbuilt OS.
Bluetooth Speaker with Dolby Audio
To adjust volume, there is an inbuilt touch pad at the top of the NANO while screen adjustment is done via a small scroll at the side. The projection features DLP Tech with 1,500 lumens, with vivid, strong colours in darkness.
The NANO is also a Bluetooth speaker with powerful Dolby audio, making it a fun companion to bring along for staycations or travels.
For sound quality, the NANO is engineered with powerful Dolby Audio speakers to produce rich, strong and immersive sound.
For those who are hooked to their mobile phones, the NANO also comes with Wireless Mirror Casting, allowing you to connect and mirror your smartphone display via Wi-Fi. You can then use it to play your favourite mobile games, play songs on Spotify or even host a Zoom call on a huge screen while lying in bed.
Pre-order is now open, with a launch promotional price of S$599.
Pricing and Availability
The LUMOS NANO is currently priced at S$599 with a one-year local warranty. It is available for direct purchase via the official LUMOS Projector website. The company currently only ships in Singapore and Malaysia.

I can’t believe I hadn’t found this place sooner. I was looking for somewhere different to have dinner, and this spot absolutely delivered. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the food? Unbelievable. I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean flavors, and they nailed it here. I started with a plate of mixed dips, which were all so fresh and packed with flavor. For the main course, I went with the grilled chicken, and it was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. And the sides? Don’t even get me started on the roasted veggies—they were seasoned so well, I could have made a meal out of just those. If you’re looking for a spot that offers both great food and atmosphere, you need to visit and see what the buzz is all about.
