[1 for 1 Promo] Bubble Tea and yogurt tea made from real fruits at Hey! I am Yogost, City Square Mall!

Selling some of the most colourful and eye-catching drinks is Hey! I am Yogost, one of the newest entrant into the Yoghurt drink scene in Singapore. With brilliant pinks and purples, these drinks are sure to look great on your Instagram feeds!

The outlet we visited was at I12Katong. Hidden in the basement, the store offers unique yogurt tea flavours like their signatures, Strawberry Lemon Yo-tea ($7.80) and Watermelon Yo-tea ($6.80). Plus, they are made with fresh fruits which makes for a healthy and refreshing treat.

Yo-tea Blends

Feeling a little bit adventurous? Try the Strawberry Lemon Yo-tea ($7.80)! The tea is packed with strawberries with sliced lemon slices, so it is sure to satisfy your cravings in our sweltering hot weather. 

It has a natural hint of tanginess and a creamy sweetness from the yogurt and strawberries combined. I appreciated that plain yogurt was used for drink instead of flavoured yogurt that often comes with a strong artificial taste.

I also chose to add purple rice to my drink to add another dimension and pop of colour to my drink. It does take a while for the purple rice to separate so that it is easier to drink but once it mixes, it’s heavenly. The chewiness almost acts like boba but adds a hint of sweetness as well as a nice chew, like a healthier version of bubble tea!

Yogurt Classics

I found the Brown Sugar Boba ($5.90) is on the sweeter side but still as satisfying. With the creamy yet smooth texture from the yogurt and the chewy boba, this bubble tea is extremely wholesome and filling. 

I liked that this drink was lighter compared to the usual milk tea as yogurt and fresh ingredients used. This is perfect for those with a sweet tooth looking to satisfy their bubble tea cravings! And if you are looking to add a little crunch to your drink, add some Oreos!

Overall, everything was refreshingly delicious and there definitely was a notable difference with the fresh ingredients used. That was something I certainly appreciated about their drinks. 

However, I felt that the brown sugar bubble tea leaned more towards the sweeter side. There are no sugar level options so I would say you could ask for less brown sugar if necessary.
