Co-hosting with Kranji Countryside Association (KCA), City Sprouts brings together your most beloved local growers under one roof. Boasting a variety of producers, visitors can sample the best of the freshest produce of the season – or even better, you can try harvesting the produce yourself in one of the workshops!
The two-day farmers market will be a ticketed weekend event which includes vouchers to shop at the Market Hall and vouchers for attending fun workshops suitable for families.
The Market Hall
The majority of the invited farmers will be going beyond selling produce. They will have demonstrations, show-and-tell, or tasting elements at their booth.
Ten vendors will be showcasing in the Market Hall, from fruits & vegetables to seafood and eggs. Apart from local fresh produce, shoppers can also look forward to organic produce from international growers from Malaysia and Japan.
Go Green Retail
In line with City Sprouts’ sustainability objective, this event will be adopting a reusable bag approach. Shoppers are encouraged to BYO-bag or pick a reusable bag from City Sprouts x Plastic-Lite “Bounce Bag” initiative.
Supporting Small Farmers
City Sprouts and KCA understand the importance of Farmers Markets in fostering entrepreneurship. The curated list of small farmers bear no fee to set up their sales booth in the Market Hall.
By providing a low-barrier entry point for small businesses to sell their produce and get feedback on their produce, Farmers Markets serve as a test bed for small businesses.
