If you are a curry lover, Curry Times, the sister brand of the iconic homegrown brand, Old Chang Kee, has launched a new series of halal-certified Chinese New Year items to their menu for everyone to enjoy together during the festive period.
Highlights include a new Yu Sheng individual platter to cater to a smaller group of dine-in patrons, pineapple curry dishes as well as promotions for kids.
This auspicious fruit curry recipe uses the sweetness of the pineapple to counterbalance the spicy flavour of the curry. The result is a delightful blend of sweet, sour, savoury and tangy spiciness, like a milder, less sour version of Assam curry.
Each Pineapple Curry Chicken set is retailing at $11.80 while the Pineapple Curry Prawns set is retailing at $12.80 each. Each set comes with a single portion of rice and a free Winter Melon drink.
These are available at all Curry Times Restaurants for dine-in, take-away or orders on delivery platforms from now to 15 Feb 2022.
For din-ins, there are a slew of other local delights which you order to enjoy together in a small group of five, ranging from Chap Chye to Ngor Hiang to a wide variety of curry dishes and more.
To add to the festive cheers, for any dine-in order of the new Pineapple Curry Chicken or Prawns, kids under the age of 10 get to eat for FREE.
Choose from a variety of kids set meal such as sweet & sour chicken/fish cutlet with rice, tomato chicken noodles or mini fish/chicken burgers set. Each kids’ meal set comes with 2 fried golden money bag wantons and a drink.
This Chinese New Year, Curry Times launched a new Huat Lah! Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng Individual Platter which one can order for dine-in, takeaway or on delivery platforms. This individual portion of Yu Sheng can serve up to 2 pax, to cater to the needs of smaller group dine-in capacity.
Curry Times Huat Lah! Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng Individual Platter is available at $9.80 per set at all Curry Times outlets from now to 15 Feb 2022.
Last not least, Curry Times also serve Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng with portions of up to 5 pax so one can toss and Lou Hei in a family of 5 as well. Available at $38.80 per set for dine-in, takeaway or on delivery platforms from now to 15 Feb 2022.
What’s special about the Curry Times’ Yusheng is the crackers used in the dish. These are made using the same curry powder that are used for making the iconic Curry Puffs at Old Chang Kee.
