LEGO unveils the biggest Architecture Skyline Collection: Singapore 21057 featuring some of the most iconic buildings in Singapore

Modelled after the fifth most visited city and one of the most architecturally forward-thinking cities in the world, the LEGO Group has announced the latest addition to its LEGO Architecture Skyline Collection: Singapore 21057.

As the biggest and most complex LEGO city skyline model to date, the set transports builders to some of the most iconic buildings in Singapore in true LEGO brick fashion. They include:

  • Marina Bay Sands
  • OCBC Centre
  • One Raffles Place
  • Lau Pa Sat food market
  • Gardens by the Bay with the Supertree Grove
  • Singapore Riverfront with the shophouses
  • The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

This collectible set is part of a range of LEGO Architecture sets for adults to build without borders, making it a fantastic treat for those who enjoy creative projects, especially for lovers of travel, history and architecture. Measuring 16 cm high, 28 cm wide and 9 cm deep, the buildable city skyline model makes the perfect display for both home and office.

The 827-piece set comes with a booklet that contains illustrated instructions, as well as information about Singapore and the inspirations for this model’s design, guiding both beginner and expert builders on a creative building journey. Recreating the architectural marvels of Singapore, builders can discover new techniques to attach the LEGO bricks to the base at varying angles to complete a striking display piece.

To further encourage Singaporeans to rediscover the familiar skyline, the Singapore launch will celebrate the local stories and experiences behind Singapore’s unique skyline. In a series of four videos created by The LEGO Group, Singaporeans were invited to share their own personal stories of the iconic sites that are featured in the set.

Painting an exciting picture of Singapore’s lifestyle scene, singer and artist Andy Yong shared his experience visiting the iconic Satay Club as a kid and playing gigs at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre with his bandmates.

For those who appreciate a good love story, Glendon who is a teacher, together with Wynne who is a lawyer, shared their favourite memories along the Singapore River, including the time when he asked her to be his girlfriend and eventually his wife.

Drawing from the creative minds, urban sketcher Francis Theo recalled some of his memories sketching the skyline with his grandson, while photographer Darren Soh shared how he has seen the skyline evolve from when he first started taking pictures of architecture in 2006 to what it is today.

The LEGO Architecture Skyline Collection: Singapore 21057 will be available from 3 January 2022 at LEGO Certified Stores, LEGO Official Store on Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, as well as major retailers and department stores in Singapore at the recommended retail price of SGD 99.90.
