[Review] Twin Towers Crispy Noodles, Curry Fish Head and More from Lam’s Garden (林苑)

Known for their signature Twin Towers Crispy Noodles, Lam’s Garden (林苑) restaurant previously located at Golden Miles Food Centre has reopened at City Gate, Beach Road.

The zi char specialty restaurant serves up quality wok-fried delights and a popular curry fish head dish, all at wallet-friendly prices. Takeaway, self-collection and delivery options are now available.

For delivery, a minimum order of S$30 is required and the delivery charge is a flat S$8 across Singapore. For takeaway or self-collection, inform the restaurant of your estimated time of collection and they will provide the necessary instructions. Details.

We tried these items for delivery:

Curry Fish Head – S$28
Stir Fried Prawn with Soy Sauce – Seasonal Price
Sambal Sotong – S$15/20/25
Stir Fried Bitter Gourd with Roasted Pork – S$18/28/36
Wok Fried French Beans with Silver Fish – S$10/15/20
Seafood Crispy Noodle (Twin) – $10

Instagram-worthy aside, how is the food from Lam’s Garden when put to the taste buds?

The twin crispy noodles can get rather messy to eat at home and is probably best enjoyed at the restaurant itself. Nonetheless, it was mighty fun to enjoy with the extra crunchiness, paired with the horfun gravy.

The curry fish head was a delight as were the rest of their zi char fares, delivered pipping hot and with consistent quality. The seafood was fresh and the spiciness level was just right. The prices are fantastic – not much different from your neighbourhood zi char stalls.

If you prefer to visit them to dine-in, the address is as below:
