[Review] Seafood feast with fresh meaty crabs: House of Seafood @ The Punggol Settlement

Located at the idyllic Punggol Settlement with beautiful and calming views of Punggol Point Jetty, House of Seafood offers a good place to feast, unwind and chill out with friends and family.

The restaurant offers numerous live seafood options like prawns with fragrant butter, steamed lobster with shredded ginger and Chinese wine, and of course, its signature crabs in mouth-watering flavors. 

In front of the restaurant, you will see many people engaging in recreational activities such as cycling and jogging by the waterfront. The ambiance is also romantic in the evening, making this place a popular spot to paktor. Couples can enjoy a scrumptious seafood spread before taking a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. 

Exercise up an appetite before tucking into a fresh seafood meal! How does that sound for a family day out? 

We had lunch at House of Seafood the other day and tried its Signature Salted Egg Crab.

The crab meat was fresh, succulent, and packed with umami. It tasted good on its own but was made even better with the flavourful salted egg sauce. We cleaned the plate by mopping up all the sauce with crab meat.

We heard the black pepper version is really good too! Making a mental note to try it next time.

House of Seafood serves many zichar dishes as well. Some of the dishes we tucked into were Hongkong kai lan with minced garlic, Handmade crispy beancurd, Braised ee-fu noodle with mushroom and chives, Homemade prawn roll, and chilled Cool sea coconut dessert- the last of which was so especially tasty on a hot day!

Heading indoors for the cool chill of the air-con is a fine option too. There are cheery photo corners inside the restaurant as well.
