Jurong Bird Park celebrates 50 Years showcasing its first ever sustainable merchandise range – the JBP 50th Anniversary Collection

Jurong Bird Park, home to over 3,500 birds across over 400 different species, turns 50 this year! In celebration of its Golden Jubilee, Jurong Bird Park will be launching a fully sustainable merchandise range.

The JBP 50th Anniversary Collection also marks Wildlife Reserves Singapore’s first ever fully sustainable merchandise range, showcasing its commitment to embracing sustainable best practices and making a difference to the environment.

The JBP 50th Anniversary Collection is now available for purchase at the Jurong Bird Park’s gift shops, so flock down to snag the exclusive merchandise!

A total of 5,335 PET bottles were shredded, pelletized and made into yarns for the creation of this collection’s tote bags, with an average of 4 PET bottles to create each bag.

The JBP50 notebook is made from paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC label is the highest standard for ethically-sourced paper products, and guarantees that the materials were sourced from well-managed forests under the FSC standards of forestry practices.
