Hawker Wars is the latest card game from the studio that brought you Singapore’s best-selling local game, The Singaporean Dream. In this game, you’ll take on the role of a hawker, and compete with other players to cook as many dishes and earn the target points as fast as you can.
With so much love for hawkers going around, Hawker Wars aims to keep this momentum going, with a hyper-local card game that features and celebrates the various elements of our uniquely Singaporean Hawker Culture.
You’ll get the chance to cook up a storm by collecting ingredients and whipping up tasty dishes faster than other players.
Don’t forget, as much as you’ve prepared, you’ll have various challenges to face, and occasionally maybe even a little scruffle. But all’s fair in love and Hawker Wars, because there’ll also be times when you’re ahead of the game, getting food awards and being featured on TV.
Fans of The Singaporean Dream will recognize some of the effects and actions cards in the game, and players can use these cards to strategize and win the game.
Watch out for Event Cards! Life isn’t easy as a hawker, Event Cards call out to the tough scenarios hawkers have to face, from getting ‘Food Poisoning’ to having a ‘Cockroach Infestation’. All hawkers will have to face this together, and who will suffer or gain through this experience is entirely up to you.
Hawker Wars launches exclusively on Shopee today retailing at just $20 with free shipping and cashback. The game will be made available at all other retail channels from 29 June onwards.
