The New IPad Pro VS IPad Air

Apple has released the new iPad Pro-2021 and is currently working on a New iPad Air, improving the current 2020 model. For tablet lovers, these two models of iPad are mind-blowing. The two models have some similar features, although there are outstanding differences between them.

IPad Pro

The most outstanding feature of the iPad Pro 2021 model is its 12.9-inch screen with 2048 times 2732 pixels for a superb resolution. The tablet comes in bands of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. This model was announced in April of 2021 and released in May of the same year. The tablet measures 11.05 inches in length by 8.46 inches in width and a thickness of 0.25 inches. It has an average weight of 682 grams with an aluminum frame and back and a glass front. This glass is scratch-resistant and has an oleophobic coating. It also has a liquid retina composed of numerous micro-LEDs, with a peak count of 1600 nits. It uses a Nano-SIM but can support Bluetooth integration. iPad pro-2021 uses a 14.5 operating system with an octa-core CPU, an apple M1 chipset, and an 8-core graphics GPU.

iPad Pro has diverse storage and memory options. Tablets with 8GB RAM have internal storage capacities of either 128, 256, or 512 GB. Those with 16GB of RAM have either one or two TB of internal storage. iPad Pro has a triple camera, the first of which has a wide view and a 12-megapixel resolution. The second camera has 10 megapixels and an ultra-wide view, while the third one is a 3D LiDAR depth scanner. All three have Quad-LED flash tones and support HDR capturing of videos of up to 4K resolution. Pro has a single selfie camera enabled with face detection software and both HDR and panorama capturing. It also supports WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC, USB, radio, and GPS comms. iPad Pro has a lithium 18W non-removable battery enabled with fast charging. It comes in gray, space, and silver colors.

IPad Air

iPad Air, on the other hand, has a 10.9-inch LED screen with 2360 by 1640-pixel resolution. The tablet measures 9.74 inches in length by 7 inches in diameter and a thickness of 0.24 inches. It weighs approximately 458 grams. Its screen utilizes a multi-touch display IPS technology with a wide color display. It has an oleophobic fingerprint-resistant coating and is anti-reflective. The screen also supports an apple pencil and has 500 nits of brightness. This tablet uses an iPad OS 14 operating system and an A14 Bionic chip with a 64-bit neural engine. iPad Air has a 12-megapixel wide camera with multiple features such as autofocus, panorama, noise reduction, timer, exposure control, photo geotagging, and stabilization. The tablet can record videos of up to 4K resolution and support the slow-motion feature.

Unlike pro, iPad Air has only two options for internal storage, either 64 or 256 GB. Air supports both Nano Sims and e sims. It also has sensors such as; a barometer, a touch ID, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, and a three-axis gyro. In place of a face scanner, iPad Air uses a touch ID.
