Cocal-Cola X Gel-QUANTUM 90 TYO by ASICS

Iconic brands, Coca-Cola and ASICS have come together for a highly-anticipated collaboration on the GEL-QUANTUM 90 TYO silhouette. The concept is named “PASS THE BATON TO THE FUTURE”, seeking to reflect the shared hope for a brighter and healthier future.

The shoe showcases distinct characteristics of both Coca-Cola and ASICS with bold colours and a clean look. The red and white colours of the upper are evocative of the Coca-Cola brand and the colour of the green heel, made of GEL technology, is inspired by the Georgia green of the Coca-Cola contour bottle. Completing the look of the sneaker is the Coca-Cola logo adorning the ASICS Stripes and heel.

Sustainable and Eco-friendly Design

The sneaker was designed with the intent to reduce the carbon footprint of the product. The uppers of each pair of shoes being made use approximately four PET plastic bottles’ worth of recycled polyester, while the environmentally friendly sockliner base material are made of recycled polyurethane.

Aesthetically pleasing, iconic designs, sustainably built and also functional, what more can one ask for in a pair of sports wear? I took it out for my evening jogs and enjoy the lightness of it with the cool design.
