Huawei announces the launch of HUAWEI MateBook D 14, the latest addition to its ultra-portable laptop line-up in Singapore.
Open up and explore new ways to work with the HUAWEI MateBook D 14, in a light, sleek and stylish design. Weighing only 1.38kg with a thickness of 15.9mm, this streamlined laptop lets users enjoy a maximum viewing angle of 178° for the best view for every task.
It is fitted with a 1920 x 1080 IPS screen and thin 4.8mm bezels to achieve 84% screen-to-body ratio and allowing users to fully immerse into its almost endless 14-inch FullView Display. The screen also contains TUV Rheinland Low Bluelight Certification effectively filters blue light emissions, for all-day eye comfort.
Available with up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i5-10210U processor that runs at up to 4.2GHz, the latest MateBook D 14 Intel edition can handle everything from image and video editing to games with ease. For GPU, it is equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card that includes 2GB of high-speed GDDR5 VRAM.
For cooling, the laptop includes a new version of the HUAWEI Shark Fin Fan. With the new s-shaped fan blades, HUAWEI Shark Fin Fan 2.0 optimises air flow dynamically for improved cooling and laptop performance.
In terms of battery life, a 56Wh (Rating value) high-capacity battery supports up to 13.2 hours of continuous local 1080p video playback on a single charge. This battery lets users freely use their laptop on the go without having to worry about its battery.
A portable, multi-purpose 65W USB-C charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable is included with the HUAWEI MateBook D 14. The charger supports all Huawei smartphones and tablets that are equipped with a USB-C port. It also features overheat protection, which automatically stops the charging process once the temperature crosses a threshold to ensure safety.
The laptop also supports Huawei Share, a Huawei-developed solution that bridges the divide between Windows and Android devices for an intelligent digital experience. With Huawei Share Multi-screen Collaboration, users can intuitively and seamlessly control their Huawei smartphone through the PC, and easily transfer and share files between devices.
The HUAWEI MateBook D 14 will be available from 20 February 2021 at a retail price of S$1,098. To celebrate the launch, customers will receive a free gift bundle worth S$243 with every purchase.
