Nalati: Wholesome Food in the CBD; Purchase Dining Vouchers and Enjoy Free Workspace in Distrii

Nalati Restaurant & Events is nestled within Distrii, a co-working space spanning level 1 to 7 of Republic Plaza, right in the heart of the CBD. The restaurant just opened in April during the circuit breaker. We went there for a weekday dinner and had a tour around the space.

To our pleasant surprise, the restaurant, with its posh interior and prime address, has a menu with the homely vibes of a zichar place. That’s because the menu offerings are really extensive and eclectic, spanning from western to Chinese to fusion-type dishes. In short, there’s something to suit everyone in the family.

We started with this beautiful appetizer that tasted as good as it looks. The deep-fried crab meat was tender inside and crispy outside, complemented nicely by the fried curry leaves and almond flakes which lent a sharp bite and nutty aroma. (ps; if you are wondering, the flowers are tasteless).

Soft-Shell Crab with Almond Flakes ($19.80)

A light pasta dish.

Squid Ink Pasta with Squid and Prawn ($16.80)

Fish was fresh and tender. Pretty faultless.

Pan-seared Seabass with Butter Sauce Seasonal Vegetables ($26.80)

The lamb rack was clearly the star dish of the night. It was cooked to perfection with no gamey taste – succulent and moist inside, with the right texture outside.

Pan-seared Lamb Rack ($28.80)

If you love your meat thick, their signature pork ribs give you the bang for bucks.

Nalati Pork Ribs ($32.80)
Tender and flavourful

Always room for dessert.

Pistachio Ice Cream with Seasonal Fruits and Caramel Sauce ($8.80)
Chocolate Lava Cake ($12.8)

Private rooms are available too, where a minimum spending of $400 will entitle you to a customized menu from the chef. If you need to host more people, the individual private rooms can be joined by opening up the partitions.

Event spaces

This flexibility and customizability of the space is also reflected in the walls of the restaurants- the digital projections can be customized according to the look and mood you want to achieve, living up to the “& Events” part of the name.

The co-working space

The restaurant is part of Distrii, the largest coworking facility in Singapore, spanning 62,000 sq ft across 6 levels of Republic Plaza. A unique part of Distrii is that it has its own app which puts the Smart in Smart Office.

For example, you can use the Distrii app to book and open meeting rooms, as well as meet higher-order needs like business networking, among other functions.

Elegant wooden staircase connecting the different levels

There are many options to suit different working needs, from hot-desking to dedicated workstations, private offices to customizable team spaces.

For seminars and workshops, there’s a flexible multi-purpose event hall that can accommodate up to 200 people.

Dining vouchers X Co-working space

Good news for those looking for somewhere centrally-located and with full office amenities to work in.

There’s a really attractive promotion on-going- Buy $550 worth of Nalati dining vouchers, and you can get to utilize the co-working space for a month!

That’s a very good deal, considering the quality of food and professional working environment provided. Contact Distrii at +65 6932 5289 for more details.
