Japan’s popular Tempura Tendon Tenya restaurant to launch in Orchard Central this 15 October with a 68-seater store

Tempura Tendon Tenya, or popularly known as Tenya, is set to launch in Singapore on 15 October 2020 with its first 68-seater store located downtown at urban shopping mall, Orchard Central.

Established in 1989 in the historical and cultural district of Asakusa in Tokyo, the tempura specialist has grown its presence over the past decades to 226 stores all over Japan as well as in the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and now Singapore.

Coated in a secret recipe flour batter and perfectly fried, the specialty cooked-to-order tempura is served in a wide selection of items at Tenya Singapore.

Prices are subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes for dine-in and only prevailing government taxes for takeaway, unless otherwise stated.

Relax over a casual meal in the comfort of Tenya Singapore’s inviting space, designed in a warm colour scheme and Japanese aesthetics with wooden furnishings and accents. Technology enhances the dining experience with an LED ceiling display that sets the mood with rotating, animated scenes of nature and kaleidoscopic graphics. During service, freshly prepared food is delivered to the table by trusty sensor-navigated robots.
