Taste Asia X ANg Ku Kueh Girl for #SG55

Taste Asia, a Singapore ready-to-eat brand that offers quick, easy and quality meals launched a Local Delights series of Ready-to-Eat Meals, inspired by four Singapore favourite breakfast items – Mee Siam, Mee Rebus, Chwee Kueh and Lo Mai Gai.

To celebrate Singapore’s 55th birthday earlier in August and the launch of Taste Asia’s Local Delight series, Taste Asia collaborated with popular homegrown character, Ang Ku Kueh Girl and Friends on a limited edition series of Ang Ku Kueh Girl x Local Favourites Tote Bag.

The Ang Ku Kueh Girl Tote Bag retails at S$19.90 each and were available for free from 2 to 15 August or whilst stocks last with every purchase of any 3 assorted Taste Asia products in a single receipt at participating 7-Eleven outlets.

We tried out the four items in Taste Asia’s Local Delight series and found them to be extremely tasty and convenient. Simply pop them into a microwave oven to reheat and they are ready-to-eat in 3 minutes or less. All the four products are certified halal and are available at 7-Eleven outlets and leading supermarkets islandwide.

Mee Rebus (S$2.90, 330g)

Featuring yellow noodles covered in thick, sweet, savoury and nutty gravy. Completed with hard boiled eggs, crispy tofu puff, fried shallots and sliced green chili.

Fragrant stir-fried Bee Hoon soaked in perfectly sweet, tangy and nutty flavoured soup. Topped with hard boiled eggs, tofu puff, fried shallots and chopped chives.

Soft and smooth rice cakes topped with savoury “Chye Poh” (preserved radish) and accompanied by sweet and spicy chili fried with dried shrimp.
