Pan Pacific offers 25,000 free stays to healthcare workers IN THEIR singapore properties

To honour the sacrifices made by healthcare workers in Singapore, Pan Pacific Hotels Group has launched the Healthcare Employees Recognition and Ovation (HERO). This initiative offers 25,000 free stays to frontliners from December 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 as a tribute to their dedication in serving the country during the Covid-19 pandemic.

These complimentary stays worth $6.5 million have been offered to National Healthcare Group (NHG), National University Health System (NUHS), and SingHealth in the hopes of helping frontliners recharge and spend some much-needed time with their loved ones.

The complimentary stays include a buffet breakfast, a 50% discount on all hotel-operated restaurants, a 30% discount on spa services at St. Gregory, and no extra charge for children under 12. Healthcare worker guests will also be given preferential room rates and a free fast-track to the next elite tier in Pan Pacific’s loyalty program, so they can enjoy more privileges in the future.

Professor Yeoh Khay Guan, Chief Executive of the National University Health System (NUHS), has thanked the Pan Pacific Hotels Group for supporting the healthcare workers, saying “We want to take care of our staff as we continue the fight against COVID-19 and this respite package comes at the perfect time. We encourage them to take a break to spend quality time with their family and loved ones – a simple joy which they have had little of in recent months.”

Mr. Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, says they have done this to honour the healthcare workers “for their exceptional spirit and service to the nation and community through this crisis”.

Earlier this year, Pan Pacific Hotels Group also partnered with the Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY) to provide 3,500 healthcare workers at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital with lunches as an appreciation for their hard work. They also provided more than 20,000 meals to families in need.
