ASICS launches AW20 Collection – the perfect pair for your indoor sport

ASICS announces their newest AW20 Indoor Collection designed to enhance speed and agility during game-play. The four key products; COURT CONTROL FF, GEL-BLADE 7, GEL-ROCKET 9 and UPCOURT 4, are built to support a variety of playing styles and ability levels.

COURT CONTROL FF

Available exclusively in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China, the new colourways are based on the Future Tech theme.

Through the use of vibrant colours and the inclusion of leading ASICS innovation, the COURT CONTROL FF delivers an advanced badminton experience, while remaining versatile for casual use. The COURT CONTROL FF shoe will also be released in two additional colourways.

GEL-BLADE 7

The GEL-BLADE 7 indoor shoe is designed for badminton players who need a lightweight shoe to quickly cover all corners of the court in comfort and style. Featuring a multitude of acclaimed ASICS footwear technologies, the GEL-BLADE 7 shoe provides stability, comfort and protection to wearers as they take the court.

With a midsole created with FLYTEFOAM Propel, wearers will find ample cushioning and spring required for jump smashing, while the OrthoLite sockliner allows for ventilation during long passages of play. The TRUSSTIC SYSTEM technology provides stability and guidance required to switch positions without excessive twisting, with the AHARPLUS outsole protecting the aesthetics of the shoe with its abrasion resistant properties.

GEL-ROCKET 9

Engineered to be an all-rounder and the most-efficient shoe in the collection, for AW20 the GEL-ROCKET 9 range has been transformed with new and exciting colourways.

With a forefoot made with GEL technology for shock absorption and lasting comfort, the GEL-ROCKET 9 Indoor shoe assists with easing away stress to the foot with each step. Extra cushioning has been provided by the Injection EVA midsole which also features rebounding properties for a boost around the court.

Wearers will also find increased stability through the TRUSSTIC SYSTEM technology – a moulded component under the midfoot area which controls torsion, and assists with directional changes without fear of twisting.

UPCOURT 4

For the aspiring badminton player, the new colourways of the UPCOURT 4 indoor shoe offer a multi-court option. Featuring a redesigned flexible upper construction with a more significant mesh area, it provides excellent flexibility for smooth multi-directional movement and increased ventilation for playing comfort. Its lightweight construction is stable enough to support footwork around the court.

The AW20 Indoor Collection will be available from 3rd August 2020 at ASICS retail and online stores as well as specialist running outlets.
