11 Nintendo Switch games you and your kids will love

If there’s one thing many parents were grateful for during the Covid-19 circuit breaker period, it’s owning a Nintendo Switch. With kids stuck at home most of the time, providing a source of entertainment is a great way to keep them busy – and quiet. (Just make sure they play in moderation, of course.)

What you might not know is that a Nintendo Switch can be a great avenue for you to bond with your kids, too. If you still don’t feel safe enough to venture out after the commencement of Phase 2 on Friday (June 19), you can continue gaming in the safety of home. Here are our top picks.

The much-loved game of the 80s gets an upgrade on the Nintendo Switch. Play with up to three players in co-op mode through 100 levels. It might look easy, but you’ll be surprised by how challenging it can get the further you make it in. The best part is that the original arcade game is included, too, so you can relive your childhood days when the kids are asleep.

Clubhouse Games

If there’s one game that you should definitely get on the Nintendo Switch, it’s Clubhouse Games. This game includes 51 tabletop games from all over the world, so you can discover a ton of new games with your kids. Each game has instructions, so you can learn them together, as well as trivia tidbits to keep things extra fun!

Being stuck at home doesn’t mean you have to laze around all day. Get moving and stay fit in the most fun way possible: by dancing! You don’t even have to be a great dancer for this. In fact, being bad at it is half the fun. With more than 500 songs to choose from, there is definitely something for the whole family to enjoy!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

You probably remember playing Mario Kart back in the day. Even if you haven’t, though, you are sure to enjoy racing with your kids. Choose from your favourite Mario characters and race and attack each other while racing. It’s competitive, but very fun!
