voice call apps people can use for work from home setups

Facebook has recently launched Messenger Rooms, which allows group calls for up to 50 people without a time limit. This comes at the perfect time with more and more people choosing to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you plan on working from home yourself, then you might want to check out an integrated communication platform that will help you communicate with your clients and teams with ease.

Google Hangouts Meet

Google Hangouts has two versions: Chat and Meet. Google Chat is an easy and efficient way to collaborate with your colleagues, allowing up to 8,000 members in a room. With Google Hangouts Meet, however, you can start video conferences with up to 250 people and even share your screen for presentations as needed.

The calls are easy to access. Just share the link, and those who are invited can join from their web browser or from the mobile app. You can also turn on real-time captions, which Google creates with speech-to-text technology. Since the video calls are encrypted, you are also ensured of the utmost safety during your meetings.

Microsoft Teams

Whether you’re a team of 10 or a team of 10,000; you can meet in a single place from anywhere in the world through Microsoft Teams. You can also go big by hosting live events if you’d like. With Microsoft Teams, you can also easily access, share and edit documents, presentations, and files in real time.

Microsoft Teams won’t just allow you to converse with your colleagues and conduct video conferences, either; you can also store files in its Microsoft’s OneDrive, so you can easily access and edit documents in one place.

Zoom

Zoom is a very popular choice for many nowadays, be it for online meetings, training, technical support, or video webinars for marketing events and big meetings.

If your meetings require a larger amount of people, Zoom is a great app that you can use on your computer or phone as it can handle up to 1,000 video participants. Zoom is also a great app for webinars as it can handle up to 10,000 viewers, as well.
